Thanks for fighting for the sake of science.

I have realized how valuable the actual scientific data and research are, but once it goes upstairs to the Executive Summary, words are added in to change the whole research always to lean towards warming and catastrophe, where the data doesn't really support it.

Unfortunately without a crisis, there is no funding. It's a vicious circle.

Wow... what a story. I am so sorry this happened to you. People who clearly and unequivocally speak their minds are under threat in this country, when they go against established narratives. It will probably get worse before it gets better as we learned last week. Strange days.

This is truly disgusting behavior on the part of the senator from Rhode Island. I doubt that he really cares about the lobster and flounder fishermen, but needs to seem to, for re-election. Our decayed political system is a much greater threat than climate change.

The dishonesty of politicians who use their power to attack individuals like Dr Pielke is corrosive to our freedom to debate openly. The IPCC report, which is used repeatedly to shout out the impact of humans on climate , as he testified, stated those facts. His testimony was true. Too bad they probably never read the IPCC report. Too bad we don’t have honest gatekeepers and dishonest press like the NYTimes.
