The appointments of Francis Collins as "science advisor" and Alondra Nelson to direct OSTP marks a historic shift for science advice in the White House
One additional concern is with the appointment of Frances Collins. He retired in disgrace as emails obtained under FOIA showed that he attacked the Great Barrington Declaration when it was published and ordered senior staff (including Fauci) to do what they could to block it from public view.
