I would be interested in your views on this report from our Office of National Statistics here in the U.K. Over 550k FEWER deaths than would be expected between 2000 and 2020 due to changes in the climate.
That report valiantly strives to uphold the climate change danger dogma but has to acknowledge the net reduction in temperature-related mortality. And it also acknowledges that warm weather increase in hospital admissions reflects injuries from warm weather activities. (It's unmistakably British in laughably defining warm as "over 13.8 degrees Celsius".)
As you so rightly say, it is almost comical that the report clearly tries so hard to maintain the “climate change bad” mantra in the face of patently positive results. The authors would clearly prefer the weather to deter people from getting out and enjoying themselves so the poor souls can’t injure themselves.
I was hoping the time-travel dialogue with IPCC ended with a Back to the Future throw-back:
IPCC: Thank you Dr. Dolce and Dr. Gabbana for this hopeful info !
US: Dolce & Gabbana ?
IPCC: Yes, that's your names right? It's written on your underwear.
... just saying, its best to monogram your underwear properly now so you (and not some fashion designers) get credit for these insights when shared during time travel. We don't want some IPCC report crediting Dr. Lululemon et. al for important discoveries :)
Reading this article gives me hope, and I can't tell you how important that is. Thank you.

I'm left wondering if, as seems to be implied, you think carbon emissions can have any noticeable effect on climate.

Great article.

Thank you! Was hoping you would write exactly this article!
