Before we get to the main event, some THB housekeeping:

I am spending more time posting at Substack Notes (which you can find on the main menu of the THB homepage), which works much like X/Twitter. I’m still on X/Twitter and BlueSky — With the rapidly changing social media environment, I am figuring out how to be the most efficient and effective. I don’t use Facebook, as THB is banned there. Also, I have set THB Chat to paid subscribers only. At the THB Chat all paid subscribers have complete access and are invited to raise issues to discuss with me and others in the THB community.

I hear there is a U.S. election coming up soon.
