I often wonder where Roger learned to maintain his calm, rational demeanor while eviscerating such slipshod "science" and reporting. It is a real skill and is to be commended. It would be easy to go full rant on these pseudoscientific clowns who threaten the foundations of principled and honest inquiry/discovery. My hat is off to you sir.

Roger, I just sent the Wall Street Journal another of my perennial requests for correction, to one of their articles claiming that fires, floods, hurricanes etc are becoming "more frequent and more ferocious". I used the UN IPCC AR6 Chap. 12 Table 12.12, to which you have guided us so many times, along with Ryan Maue's graphs of hurricane numbers and energy. This is about the umpteenth time I have drawn the WSJ's attention to this issue, To date there has been total silence in reply. I believe the WSJ is in thrall to the WWA press releases and have decided to ignore the UN IPCC. I recall about 15 years ago, the Obama apparatchiks praising the UN IPCC as "the gold standard in climate research" when they thought the UN IPCC was giving them the answers they wanted to hear. No longer, it seems.
